Environmental Media Awards 2008

Held each year in Hollywood, the Environmental Media Awards are designed to raise public awareness on environmental issues and to inspire personal action. The awards recognise writers, producers, directors, actors, musicians and others in the entertainment industry actively expressing their concern for the environment through their work.

Two eZee electric bikes (eZee Sprint and Cadence) were auctioned on the night to help raise funds and to draw attention to this green form of transport. A combination of factors including environmental awareness, rising oil prices and the desire to live a healthier lifestyle, are now making cycling more attractive than ever. Electric assisted cycling helps ensure this option is a truly practical one, allowing commuters to cover distances in less time, powering up hills and through headwinds, reaching their destination sweat free.
